Ghanaian dancehall giant Samini says his ‘Untamed’ album deserves the album of the year at the VGMA because the album made it’s debut at number 8 on the billboard and did massively well on other international charts after few weeks of being released.
Award-winning Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste – Samini releases his seventh and much awaited “Untamed” album. ‘Untamed’ is an amazing body of work which houses 22 reggae bops.
Samini revealed his inspiration for the album comes from certain stages he has gone through in life.
“Been through the mud, through the sun and the rain, one thing i know is, no pain no gain so its now out for this 7th Album titled untamed.” he said.
Well the UNTAMED album came out all reggae because he believes reggae made him who he is and it has been receiving lot of recognition in both local and foreign platforms,todat the album has been nominated as the ALBUM OF THE YEAR.
I have won album of the year before and I think wouldnt be a be a big deal if I don’t win again but I think untamed deserves this award than any other,he concluded.
I think he really deserves this award because he has really worked hard…i love him.
