GHANAIANS WERE SLOW IN ACCEPTING MY TYPE OF MUSIC – WIYAALA ADMITs

Noella Wiyaala, a Ghanaian afro pop a singer-songwriter who sings in her native language Sissala, Waale dialects and English admits Ghanaians were very slow accepting the type of music she records.
According to Wiyaala, the warm reception from foreigners the first time she went out of the country was very different compared to her own country.
People even thought I was from an Ivorian sometimes because Sisala dialect is not commonly heard in most part of our country Ghana.

People are used to the “puuu and the paaa” type of songs so they could adjust easily.

If Ghanaians don’t accept us and support their own, we might go out of the country one day and never return. She added.
Wihala was one of the amazing performers featured with okyeame

kwame at the made in Ghana concert.
