This could be because they do not receive the five elements of ‘nurturing care’ for children.I live in a country where there are no guaranteed structures for being a nanny. There is no gradation required to become a nanny, but a specialized certification in early childcare development may help with career advancement. In taking care of someone’s child, you automatically assume the position of the Parent, teacher, and role models. They pick what you do or say, sometimes some kids don’t, you can even teach them but still do things their own way, but with your knowledge will help guard him or her to do what he wants in the right way.

FIRST AID CERTIFICATION
First aid is the first and immediate assistance given to any person suffering from either a minor or serious illness or injury. How do you take care of a child if you have no idea of how to stabilized a collapsed child or dress a cut or wound when the need arises? CPR and first aid certification are commonly required, though. Each family will have their own expectations for a nanny’s previous childcare experience.

GOOD HEALTH AND CRIMINAL RECORD
There is some health process a nanny should go through like being in good health, up to date on immunizations, valid health insurance, and have negative results on a tuberculosis test, HIV, Corona, and many more. Clean criminal background and negative drug test are also required internationally but not necessary here in Ghana unless the parent is foreign.

GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND PATIENCE
You should also have strong communication and instructional skills. The twentieth-century kids are very intelligent to correct you when you make mistakes regardless of where you are, thinking they are correcting you. Of course, they are but how right was that correction in public and how will you feel. Don’t be offended because we learn everyday so always be on the go to learn new things related to them in order to be on the same language with them. Patience is also needed and you need to have the stamina to deal with high-energy children.
