Fast-rising Ghanaian artiste, Yaw Berks has mentioned that the only challenges artists face when coming up have to do with finance.
According to him, most investors feel artistes will betray them one day when they break through. In an interview with the showbiz Now host KMJ,Yaw Berks made it knows that his mother did not support his ambitions to be a musicians but a doctor, but due to his love for his mother he has to try all break all odds to make it in the music industry in order to impress her to accept his passion and ambition is his music career.
Yaw Berk is one of the MTN hitmaker season 5 Participant with a second runner up in 2018,the independent hitmaker revealed that the organizer of the reality show intentionally gave the winning title to a woman because, they claimed a woman hasn’t won before and for that reason, they cheated them and gave the title to a woman.
when asked why he was not nominated for the coming VGMAs, He said I was expecting to be nominated at the discovery artiste of the year but i wasn’t, although they know how popular and viral music went.
