Traveling and seeing new places can offer incredible experiences. As you travel over time, you’ll naturally pick up lots of tips that will allow you to travel much better on subsequent trips. In this article am going to share with you 10 tools to travel with like a pro.
Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. Steve Jacobs said it all, but the finding it is sometimes the problem to many so this is what am going to tell you, you might have not completely find it but trust me there is something that brings a little income(work) gives you more daily knowledge update (LEARNING) and enjoying serene site(traveling).
I’d like to emphasize one thing: it’s not about the tools, it’s about your results. If you work best with a pen and paper, there is no need to try and adopt a digital tool that doesn’t feel right for you, just because your peers or someone you admire uses one or the other tool shouldn’t make you force yourself to use it just to be cool.
There are a lot of tools that can be more beneficial to you but I will give some examples of what might be suitable for you if foreign and stick to tools accessible as Africans or Ghanaian to be specific.
I was privileged to travel around all the 10 but now 16 regions of Ghana from 2019 to 2021. Your Babygirl travels alot but my official traveling experience was 2019|2020 where I traveled all the 10 regions in Ghana, a memorable experience worth repeating. so let start with:
BOOKING.COM
To be honest with you, I don’t personally book the flight or hotels for business trips because if it family travel, my big sister does it and if business-wise, it the logistics company but I use booking.com which I heard they are an amazing booking site with prompt responses. They also include a guarantee if you lose a connection because of delays or cancellations.
TRANSPORTATION
Who travels without visiting places or go site seeing in 2021? Unless you drove yourself and trust me sometimes it best without car drama and that why Uber, Yango, Taxify, Bolt, and many more are there at your service but my favorite is Bolt because it affordable and reliable compared to others.
ACCOMMODATION
One of the key vitals when it comes to traveling is accommodation because after a long flight or driving all you need is to bring back your soul to a serene place to lay your head, now when it comes to accommodations, TripAdvisor and Airbnb comes to mind.
TRIP ADVISER
Tripadvisor looks for the best prices and has many options everywhere in the world. It’s great that there are so many reviews you can check out before deciding to book a hotel.
AIRBNB
Airbnb connects you with owners of houses/apartments who are renting a room or the whole property. It’s a great alternative to meet people or stay in a non-touristy area. Plus, you can find very good prices.
This is where my one found hideout was found and now.

ITINERARIES, SITE SEEING OR TOURIST ATTRACTION
My travel itinerary depends on either is work or personal or even family.
My last travel itinerary for 2020 was organized by Volta serene hotel as part of their seasonal hotel accommodation and site seeing package.

I’ve planned lots of itineraries with this website. They have maps with all the attractions and points of interest. You can see the exact location, photos, route, and time you’ll spend on each day.
Pinterest is great for travel planning. I find it better than google to easily find activities you can do in your next destination.From what to wear to what place to picture ideas and how and where to even take nice pictures.
GET A GUIDE EXPERTISE
This is where boujiness sets in, If you don’t want to spend time building all of your itineraries, you can choose to leave it to the experts.
The guide is great for finding different kinds of tours everywhere from where to visit. profitable options on where necessary to visit and ideas of where to connect with business-minded places and people.
RESTAURANT/LOCAL JOINT
Getting the correct meal to eat in or to order out is essential for me especially when I visit a new region, I want to taste it all so I use google my business.
GOOGLE MY BUSINESS
I run my local business on this site where food joints, a local restaurant, a traditional gift shop, and local items are available with accurate locations, times, and reviews.
Those are my favorite part because they enable you to read and choose what you want without being dubbed as a foreigner.
LOCAL PEOPLE
If it is good, tasty, traditionally made food you are looking for then the right bypass is their local dwellers.
They know where cheaper, good and local joints are with a small token as a gift, your local food tasting is sorted out.
