Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame was the MC at the VGMAs nominees jam held at the labadi beach which happens to be his first time hosting an event.
According to OK, he was very scared on stage mainly because ‘MCing’ was mainly talking which was out of his comfort zone, rapping and singing is his realm.
“I am a Kumasi boy and English is something am not too much of a fun of, so I had to process the concert and construct appropriate grammar to make people comfortable and enjoy the show”.Okyeame shared.
Rapdoctor himself confessed that,for the first time in twenty two years of my life in the artist industry, this is the ever first time I have ever experience one week butterfly in my stomach and chest pains for just hosting event(MCing),he concluded.
Aside all his fears and butterfly biggling,the VGMAs nominee party was one of it king and came out wonderfully.
